Doing some DoorDash-ing tonight and hit 49k miles. Got greeted with a request for an oil change shortly thereafter. Doing that tomorrow.

I work from home home now, for the foreseeable future. So, the miles don’t add up very quickly unless I do a lot of driving for DoorDash...which I don’t (2-3 days a week maximum).

It’s a good car and I still like it a lot. The factory brakes sucked and so did my first set of replacements, but the Raybestos ones on there now are great. Had a warranty claim on the driver’s seat upholstery and a chrome trim piece on the trunk early on in my ownership. Other than that, it has been smooth sailing. I had heated seats and remote start put in it recently, and it is fully paid off - all adding up to a win in my book.

October 10, 2015 to now is how long it took me to get to 49,000 miles. And that’s with three trips from here in Kentucky to vacation in Florida.

Living in rural Kentucky but close to a decent sized town means our cars tend to have lower miles (and no, there aren’t any public transit options).

Have a few iPhone XS photos from just now.

Is door dashing profitable? I'd like to do it on the weekend in my beater?

If said beater gets good gas mileage and you only do orders in one specific area, then yes ! I average $120-ish a week and use about   2 gallons of gas per dash.

Yyeah, 05 accord. Hmm for 3 dollars in gas and 120 bucks. Is not bad...
